In a recent interview to promote The Flaming Lips upcoming album, Wayne Coyne spoke about his work with Miley Cyrus on her Dead Petz record. Check out what he had to say below!
“When Miley and I began to make the music that became the Dead Petz record, it was because Miley wanted to make an album the way Flaming Lips do. She wanted to just be creative, without producers, art directors and advisors making choices for her. Miley and the Lips do our best creatively, not worrying about what the world thinks of us.”

It’s a good day to be a Smiler! Miley Cyrus’ fans are freaking out after whispers of new music from the pop star hit the internet. While Cyrus has yet to address the rumor herself, fans are entirely convinced new bops are coming, and they even started a trending Twitter hashtag about the news. The tag “#MILEYISCOMING” took over Twitter on July 21, and it explains why so many fans believe Miley Cyrus will drop an album in 2020.
It’s no secret most musicians tour in tandem with an album release, so it was a concert announcement from Cyrus that tipped Smilers off. The singer was announced as part of the 2020 iHeartRadio Music Festival lineup, and her fans are hoping this means more music is on its way.
Cyrus dropped her last EP She Is Coming in May 2019, and revealed that she planned to drop two additional EPs called She Is Here and She Is Everything before the release of a final compilation album that includes all the tracks from the EPs called She Is Miley Cyrus. Unfortunately for fans, after the release of She Is Coming, the additional EPs were put on hold and there’s still no word on when fans can expect more music.
Fans are anticipating Miley Cyrus to release her new EP “She Is Here.” After releasing the first part of the trilogy “She Is Coming,” the singer prepares to drop “She Is Here,” and finally to be followed by “She Is Everything.” Miley discussed her plans for the three-part series in production of her next full album, but it was ultimately postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Although there isn’t much news as of yet about her upcoming activities, the singer released new images that are supposedly related to her comeback. Miley also announced that she will be performing at the iHeartRadio Musical Festival. The online event will take place on September 18 and 19, and this year’s lineup includes artists like BTS, Miley Cyrus, Coldplay, Khalid, Migos, and more. Since there won’t be a live audience due to social distancing regulations, the 10th-anniversary live event will be filmed in Los Angeles and Nashville, and iHeartRadio is planning ways for fans to engage with the show, including a Zoom audience and virtual dressing room interviews.
In addition to the exciting news, Miley Cyrus reportedly recorded nine songs for her upcoming EP “She Is Here.” With her return coming soon, fans have already celebrated the news with hashtag #MILEYISCOMING.
After the announcement yesterday afternoon (21st July) that Miley Cyrus will be performing at this year’s iHeartRadio Festival in September, fans came together on Twitter to show their excitement for the new era.
#MILEYISCOMING trended worldwide on Twitter, reaching #5 on the worldwide trending topics with over 74,500 tweets.

The British anthology series “Black Mirror” won Best TV Movie at the Emmys for the last three years: “San Junipero” in 2017, “USS Callister” in 2018, and “Bandersnatch” in 2019. The show is back in the 2020 awards race, but now it’s in brand new territory. The TV academy ruled that the series’s standalone episodes were too short to compete as movies. But will it be just as popular with voters as a drama series? Scroll down to see the show’s 28 entries across the Emmy ballots.
“Black Mirror” tells a different story in every episode, but with a common theme: the future of technology and its potentially sinister effects on humanity. The most recent season consisted of only three episodes: “Striking Vipers” about college friends reuniting later in life, “Smithereens” about a dramatic drive with a ride share driver, and “Rachel, Jack and Ashley Too” about a teenager longing to connect with the pop star she idolizes.
